Alexander Strömerwas born in Vienna in 1968 First engagement at the Tiroler Landestheater, longstanding member of the Wiener Burgtheater and the Theater in der Josefstadt for years.Numerous works with well known directors such as Achim Benning, Claus Peymann, George Tabori,Achim Freyer, Janusz Kica, Günter Krämer, Wolfgang Engel, Karlheinz Hackl, Herbert Föttinger, Otto Schenk,Robert Meyer, Ursel and Karl-Ernst Herrmann, Klaus Weise, KlausKusenberg, Niko Büchel, Heribert Sasse, andmany others.Alexander Strömer works additionally as avoice-over artistand singer.During his acting career Strömer discovered his love of classical singing and was trained as a classical vocal artist.His bassbaritone-voice is well-suited for classical singing.This enabled him to take on many challenging roles in the vocal sphere.On film and telvision Strömer worked with the directors Michael Kreihsl, Andreas Kopriva, Fabian Ender, ErhardRiedlsperger, Wolfgang Murnberger, among others.Listeners of Radio Ö1 know Strömers voice well from the programm „Terra Incognita“.
